Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Attaching the Tap System

Make sure your tap system is complete with the Mini Tap and  auto close spring.

Put auto close spring into tap with the small side facing outwards.

Hold collar and twist in black Mini Tap, making sure to tighten all the way

Step 2: Attach a compatible CO2 cylinder to the regulator and secure it in place.

Here's a great video explanation:  here

Remove the female threaded gas joiner by unscrewing the small side screw and replace with the 6.5mm barb (if not done already)

Push the 6.5 mm joiner onto the 6.5mm barb. Push the line firmly into the joiner. If it is a non return valve joiner the arrow must be pointing away from the regulator and towards the keg.

Unscrew the reducing bush on the inlet (this can be used for the small CO2 bulbs). Screw the Sodatream compatible cylinder into the regulator, making sure to hold the neck of the cylinder in place while attaching and detaching. Screw the thumb screw in to depress the valve on the cylinder. Ensure a seal is formed between the cylinder and the regulator. Tighten more if needed but do not over tighten the cylinder into the reducing bush. Over tightening can result in no gas being able to pass through the regulator. Perform a leak test to ensure an adequate seal has been formed.

Attach the gas (grey & red) quick connect onto the line and the grooved ball lock tab on the keg.

Attach the (black & yellow) liquid line to the non grooved ball lock tab on the keg (if not done already)

Here's a great video on the connections here

After this is done, you will just need to take your quick connects off to fill your keg up with beer/cider/cocktails and then set your PSI and you will be good to go!

Step 3: Setting the Regulator

Adjust the regulator to your desired PSI for perfect dispensing. Depending on what your pouring will depend on your PSI! If you are pouring beer we suggest you start low (2) and work your way up in order not to waste any beer. 10-12 psi is the sweet spot at 3-5 degrees!  If you are doing cocktails they are pretty forgiving so start around 10 and work your way up!

Step 4: Checking Seals and Connections

Ensure all seals and connections are tight to prevent any leaks. We recommend to run the whole system with water just to make sure no parts have come loose in transit!

Step 5: Reattach Handle

Screw in the handle with the fasteners provided and the use of a phillips head screwdriver.
